We love this hotel and stay often. It was an old farm I believe so the reception bar and restaurant are in the middle and the rooms are in various buildings around which gives it almost a village feel. This time we were surprised to receive a "guest of the day" which meant a free breakfast and the restaurant gave us a free dessert as well. The rooms are always lovely, clean and comfortable and the food is lovely. The best thing is how welcoming they are especially for dogs. There is a little doggy station in the reception with dog biscuits, water bowls and little towels and there are grounds to walk them leading to a field. They even provide poobags and dog bins. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
The reception and staff were friendly and welcoming. It is worth noting they have a little antiques shop on site too. We stayed here for one night over valentines and had a nice time. The continenal breakfast was included in the pricing and was delicious. The dining room/bar area was very beautifully decorated. The room was cosy but a little cold, even with the radiator on. We put this down to being an end room. The shower was lovely and hot and nice and clean. The room had a nice large TV, double bed and bunk beds. Plenty of towels were available and was lovely and clean theoughout with fresh crisp sheets, on the beds. We had a great night's sleep and it was lovely and peaceful.
Amazing Experience - I helped arrange Breakfast to assist my friend who was unable to collect from the Restaurant. - On visiting - 2 Great induviduals Amy and Areesha enabled the Trays to take the Food to the room. Every step was assisted even to the point of coming to the Room with a tray/door opening etc, This proved valuable and made the process so much easier. They both proved that Good Service does exist and with a smile all the way. I want to Thank both as other Hotels do not have such staff. Lovely Hotel and everything is so nice. Great place to visit and stay. 10 out of 10
From the start of our break at reception to when we left the service from the staff was exemplary even though many of them were young they were polite professional and friendly and could not do enough for us. Lovely surroundings, our room was clean spacious and cosy. Only small criticisms. Mattress was quite hard although I understand that personal preference comes into play and lighting outside courtyard room could have been better . Apart from this I cannot praise this hotel highly enough. The food was lovely and plentiful and the atmosphere was lovely. I will definitely be back with other family. Well done to you all
Enjoyed a short stay for a meet up with the whole family just for one night. The room we had was basic (we had a dog with us) but clean and comfortable. It was cold at first until we found the thermostat and turned it up! The hotel were very helpful in seating us together for a meal, dogs and all. The food was great and the staff were very helpful in sorting out the bill for three families, never easy! All very good.
Fabulous location for a cosy countryside stay, just 10min drive from Stratford. The hotel staff were professional but super friendly making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was very spacious and the staff had provided us with doggie beds, blankets and bowls for the little fur babies The food was also excellent. Breakfast lasted us until dinner time! If we return to Stratford we will definitely go back
Lovely little hotel, the room is fresh and welcoming, with ample space. A large palace shower adjoins the room. Courtesy tea/coffee making, ironing board and iron available in the room also. The evening meal comprised two courses, the choices we made were perfect, the food well cooked and presented with friendly service. Bar prices are also more than reasonable. So far 5/5, an enjoyable stay , looking forward to breakfast
Lovely hotel in a quiet village just outside Stratford Upon Avon. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, the room was clean and beautifully decorated. The bar area was a lovely atmosphere and they had card games that we could use. Would definitely recommend.
